Deutsche Bank plans to establish a subsidiary bank in Ukraine. This was announced by Alexander Bazarov, head of the Bank’s representative office, at the international forum “Ukrainian Capital Market – 2004”.
“We plan to set up a subsidiary bank with a full banking license,” – he said. Bazarov added that the subsidiary will most likely provide service to major clients.
“As far as I understand, (the bank) will provide service to major corporate clients, that are of interest for us from the point of view of capital market, bond market etc,” – he added. Deutsche Bank is one of the largest European banks.
As informed by the agency, in the middle of May the City Government of Kiev chose Deutsche Bank along with Morgan Stanley as lead-managers for Kiev eurobond placement worth USD200 mln in 2004.
